Win 1 of 3 The Minister of Chance Trucker/ Baseball Caps in Celebration of the Release of Episode 4 – The Tiger

The Minister of ChanceToday, at 00:00:01 GMT, I released The Minister of Chance – Episode 4 – The Tiger into the wilds of the Internet! It is now available for you to stream and download at the price of FREE. To celebrate this event, we* at The Minister of Chance want to give your more free things!

The Minister of Chance (@MinisterChance) is a BBC Audio Drama Awards nominated radiophonic science-fiction fantasy series set in the Doctor Who universe. It is a spin-off, of sorts, of the BBC radiophonic series Death Comes to Time starring Stephen Fry as The Minister. The Minister of Chance was one of only five Time Lords who survived the Second War in Heaven and the destruction of Gallifrey.

The character of The Minister was created by Dan Freeman (@SageofTheWaves), who is the writer, director and producer of The Minister of Chance. Julian Wadham plays this incarnation of The Minister. The Minister of Chance also stars the voices of Jenny Agutter, Gethin Anthony, Lauren Crace, Paul Darrow, Tamsin Greig, Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann, Jed Brophy, Philip Glenister, and more.

In Episode 4 – The Tiger, The Horseman finally catches up with The Minister and an injured Kitty on the Plain of Tombs in Paludin Fields. Meanwhile in Tanto, Professor Cantha and Sunflower spread the ancient knowledge of Science amongst the people of Tanto. In Sezuan, Durian’s ambitions are realized with the help of the vicious Lord Rathen.

Something pretty major happens in this episode! So please, no spoilers! If you’d like to discuss the thing that happens in this episode, then join the private spoiler chat group on Facebook.

The final episode of the first series is currently in production. Earlier today, we managed to raise the necessary $10,000 to complete Episode 5. If you’d like, you can still contribute to the fundraiser, and receive some nice perks for doing so.

You can subscribe to The Minister of Chance on iTunes. You can download the episodes on The Minister of Chance‘s website. Linux users using podcatchers can subscribe to The Minister of Chance via the RSS feed. Remember, this is all FREE thanks to the wonderful Moguls of The Minister of Chance.

*I say “we” because by some bizarre and wonderful twist in the fabric of this universe, since I first started to cover The Minister Of Chance two years ago, I’ve somehow become a member of the Minister of Chance crew. In the interest of full disclosure, not only was a character named after me in Episode 3, I also provide online tech support for the production, make the podcast available via iTunes, and provide hosting for the website. Even if Dan and I hadn’t become friends over the last couple years, even if I didn’t work with the production in some way, I’d still be telling you to support this production, just as I have since early 2011.
