Help Fund Episode 5 of The Minister Of Chance

The Minister of Chance is a superb science-fiction/fantasy audiodrama set in the Doctor Who universe. It stars the voices of Julian Wadham, Jenny Agutter, Lauren Crace, Gethin Anthony, Paul Darrow, Tamsin Greig, Peter Guinness, Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann, and more. It is produced, written and directed by Dan Freeman, who introduced the character of The Minister in the BBC Doctor Who radiodrama Death Comes To Time.

The Minister of Chance is FREE, and fully funded by its listeners.

Episode 4 of The Minister of Chance is currently in production. Now it is time to help fund the final episode in the first season of The Minister of Chance.

If you head on over to The Minister of Chance‘s funding page, you can see a list of all the wonderful, limited edition things you will receive in exchange for your donations. We* need to raise $10,000 by December 23, 2012, in order to produce the final episode of the first season.

I will tell you that you will not be sorry for helping us fund this episode. If you don’t want to take my word for it, then listen to the brand new The Minister of Chance trailer below, download the prologue and episodes 1, 2 and 3 from The Minister of Chance website, or download it via iTunes.

*I say “we” because by some bizarre and wonderful twist in the fabric of this universe, since I first started to cover The Minister Of Chance last year, I’ve somehow become a member of the Minister of Chance crew. In the interest of full disclosure, not only was a character named after me in Episode 3, I also provide online tech support for the production, make the podcast available via iTunes, and provide hosting for the website. Even if Dan and I hadn’t become friends over the last year, even if I didn’t work with the production in some way, I’d still be telling you to support this production, just as I have since early 2011.

Jules Sherred does way more than should be legal. Most notably, she is the General Manager and Programming Director of The Look 24/7, host of the Geeky Pleasures Radio Show and the offshoot website, Geeky Pleasures, and core contributor to Wired’s GeekMom. She’s already written two non-fiction books — From The Mundane To The Insane: A Wonderful Journey Without A Destination and Tales Of A Lupus Butterfly — the partial proceeds of which go to lupus research and treatment, is working on another book called Nerd Love, and is beyond excited that Five Little Zombies And Fred is now a real thing for people to hold, read, and love.
