Reverb Publishing is Taking You to the Edge of Space

Reverb Publishing Announces Publishing Partnership for Handyman Studios’ Spacey Sandbox Adventure, Edge of Space

Twain Harte, CA – September 13, 2012 – Reverb Publishing has announced that it will be publishing developer Handyman Studios’ upcoming sci-fi 2D sandbox terraforming adventure game, Edge of Space. Having recently reached successful funding on Kickstarter and set in the vast reaches of outer space, Edge of Space invites players to explore a dynamic open-world sandbox, building, creating, molding, and working to survive in the deepest, darkest, weirdest, and possibly most interesting part of the known universe.

“Handyman Studios is thrilled to be working on our dream project of melding the vast reaches of outer space with terraforming, survival, and sandbox exploration,” said Jake Crane, founder and CEO of Handyman Studios. “Teaming up with Reverb on realizing our fantasies of cybernetically-enhanced laser sharks in space is definitely awesome.”

“We fell in love the moment we saw Edge of Space’s awesomely quirky sci-fi setting and deep gameplay,” said Ted Lange, executive producer at Reverb Publishing. “We really feel that the team at Handyman Studios has got something special here.”

As one of the few, proud, and lucky men and women of ArkCo, players must go where no one has wanted to go or was technically “meant” to go. After an indeterminate time in cryo-sleep, they awake to find themselves in a lonely, Bermuda Triangle-like area in the depths of space. So get ready to explore, scavenge, build, survive, and fight rocket-powered, cybernetically-enhanced laser sharks.

Edge of Space has been submitted to Valve’s Steam Greenlight project (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=92913728), which allows members of the Steam community to vote for games that they’d like to see available on the service. Edge of Space joins Reverb Publishing’s growing roster of titles, which includes the massively successful Dungeon Defenders, the recently released Jeremy McGrath’s Offroad and JAM Live Music Arcade, the upcoming Sanctum 2, Primal Carnage, Ravaged, Black Knight Sword and much more.
