You have children. You want to create beautiful works of art with them. But maybe you have some things that stand in the way. Maybe the children are not quite old enough to create in a fashion that is conducive to your sanity… like the act of creating will create a mess that will take hours to clean. Or perhaps, you do not have access to the necessary materials.  The list can go on.

Enter PotteryPrint.

What is PotteryPrint? Hopefully, it will be a  iPad app that will allow even your toddler to create wonderful pieces of pottery that can be printed in 3D.

How will PotteryPrint accomplish this? Let me show you?

When creating, the child will have two options.

The first is a lesson-based game that teaches children about pottery techniques using an intuitive silhouette system. Each lesson presents a shaded outline of a new object to be created, and asks the child to fill in the outline using the clay.

The second option is what the designer calls the “free-wheeling mode.” In this, users are given unlimited clay, brushes, tools, and their imagination is the only limit. At the end of both modes, the user is presented with the option to “print” their latest creation.

With only 7 days left in this Kickstarter campaign, they still have quite a lot of money to raise. To find out more about this project, follow this handy dandy link.
